How’s your body doing after Stage 2?  Hope all is well because we have another day of moto trail adventure ahead with some famously good trails en route to the rustic Burgdorf Hot Springs Resort for gas and services. We head up the Warm Springs Creek Trail then pause at Bull Trout Lake. From there we can add in Gates and Wyoming Creek Trails, or bypass them on the main route roads to pass thru the scenic Bear Valley. Then you have another choice of either the intermediate Habit Creek trail or the advanced difficulty Bitter Creek trail that will force you to keep up your momentum and challenge your body.

We ride north over Silver Creek Summit and up Bull Creek to ride fast and enjoy the vistas of Telephone Ridge. We finally get to rest for a few minutes as we cruise past Warm Lake and an option to stop for food or even gas at times.  Note: McCall has a motorcycle repair shop flagged in the GPX file if you need to detour and do repairs and Warm Lake is a good departure point.  From Warm Lake, we take an extra windy road up to Landmark, where we have some advanced trail options that parallel the road to Yellow Pine. Pioneer style riders can sleep and eat in Yellow Pine if they wish.

After refueling in Yellow Pine, we head out along the East Fork Salmon River and Lick Creek roads. Along the way, there is a sweet, but advanced special test loop that starts at North Fork Fish Creek.  Then we proceed to the popular Twenty Mile trail and then head toward Burgdorf on the Warren Wagon Road. Burgdorf Hot Springs Resort is a must see stop, for rustic cabins, food, gravity fed gas, and a hot spring swimming pool. But no bedding, so fire up that wood stove to stay warm. Even if you arrive late, you can walk over to the large hot spring pool and rejuvenate your body. If you are riding Pioneer style, this is a good place to stop after Yellow Pine and linger for half a day. If you arrive/leave after hours, you can take a detour into Riggins, which is another 65 miles (120 miles from your last gas in Yellow Pine).
