Hopefully you did all your last minute packing and bike setup the night before so you can get an early start. We head out of in Wallace, riding 42 miles of early single track trail mixed with fun ATV trails before gassing up in Avery. Then ride the gorgeous Fish Hook gully road to get to the Marble Creek and Delaney National Recreation single track trails. The special test option over Lookout Mt is actually shorter and less trail, but it has an advanced boulder rock section with an outstanding view of Lost Lake for those that seek the maximum risk/reward challenge. Then we cruise the windy IDBDR route for 73 miles of forest roads past several scenic highlights like the Blue Cabin and the Dworshak Reservoir on our way to the tiny town of Pierce for the night. Note that the lodging waypoint details in the GPX files contain recommended motel phone numbers and websites to help make reservations.
